FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) — An 80-year-old Franklin woman was found dead inside a vehicle at the Whitnall Park Beer Garden Wednesday morning.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, a person walking near the beer garden around 11 a.m. noticed someone who appeared to be slumped over in the driver's seat of a vehicle in the parking lot.

When the person passed the vehicle again several minutes later, they noticed the woman was still in the same position and contacted authorities.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office and Greendale Fire Department responded to the scene.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation.
