89-year-old charged in connection to Cudahy hit-and-run found not competent to stand trial

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An 89-year-old woman charged in connection to a hit-and-run from last year appeared in Milwaukee County court on Monday, Feb. 9.
Darlene Adam is charged with one count of hit-and-run involving injury after she allegedly ran over a 9-year-old girl back in October in Cudahy.
The girl suffered a concussion and road rash but has since returned to school and continues to recover.
A judge previously ordered Adam to receive a competency evaluation, and she was found not competent to stand trial.
Adam will not be going to jail, and she will be reevaluated in 90 days.
