A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Mayor Cavalier Johnson and Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley gathered with others today, on Sept. 11, in remembrance of the tragedy of 9/11.
It has been 21 years since the attacks on the nation.
Crowley thanked the first responders that risked their lives that fateful day.
Mayor Johnson spoke about the unity that blooms through disaster.
"We grieved, we coped, we learned to move forward, and we learned to never forget," said Mayor Cavalier Johnson.
A rifle salute and taps were performed in honor of the victims.
