MPD: 6 people shot, 1 dead in multiple overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating multiple overnight shootings where six people were shot and one person died.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department: 

18th and North 

A non-fatal shooting occurred Friday, Aug. 14 around 11:35 p.m. near 18th and North. Two victims, a 20-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy, sustained gunshot wounds. They were transported to local hospitals for treatment. There are no current suspects. 

Sheridan and Winthrop

A separate shooting occurred almost ten minutes later at 11:46 p.m. near Sheridan and Winthrop. A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was killed. He sustained a life threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police are seeking a known suspect. 

31st and Lisbon

A third separate shooting occurred at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 near 31st and Lisbon. A 30-year-old Milwaukee man sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital. There are no current suspects. 

26th and Capitol 

A fourth shooting occurred at 2:57 a.m. Saturday morning near 26th and Capitol. The victims were standing outside when shots were firem. A 17-year-old sustained non-life threatening injuries and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment. A 16-year-old sustained a minor injury and refused medical treatment. There are no current suspects.
