Milwaukee gears up for Brewers postseason run as banners go up around American Family Field

CBS 58

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Milwaukee is getting ready for another October of Brewers baseball.

Postseason banners have started going up around American Family Field as the Brewers prepare for the 2026 MLB playoffs.

The team has also begun selling NL Central championship merchandise after securing its fourth consecutive division title.

But Milwaukee still has plenty left to play for during the final nine games of the regular season.

The Brewers remain in position to clinch a first-round postseason bye, the No. 1 seed in the National League and the best overall record in Major League Baseball.

Milwaukee is hoping this postseason run ends differently than last year's, when the Brewers reached the National League Championship Series before being swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The franchise is still searching for its first World Series championship, and with another division title secured and one of baseball's best records, expectations are high heading into October.
