MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If you're planning a trip to the Milwaukee County Zoo, now might be a good time to check out all of the new animals while also enjoying live music and food from local restaurants.
That's because this weekend is A La Carte at the Zoo.
The event had been canceled the past couple of years due to Covid, but now it's back and better than ever.
"We have 20 different restaurants on grounds, they're kind of placed throughout the park which is really nice, and then we have five entertainment stages throughout the park, and then of course our wonderful animals as backdrop, so just a great event for families," said Jennifer Diliberti, PR manager for the Milwaukee County Zoo.
The event runs Friday, Aug. 19-Sunday, Aug. 21.
Food and beverage vendors are accepting credit cards or debit cards only -- no cash.
A cash-to-card kiosk will be located in the US Bank gathering place.
