GREENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Continuing a tradition of recruiting dynamic culinary talent with ties to the Midwest, The Bartolotta Restaurants has named Chef Connor McNeil as Executive Chef of Joey Gerard’s – A Bartolotta Supper Club in the historic village of Greendale. Chef McNeil joins The Bartolotta Restaurants following more than a decade of success in kitchens in Milwaukee and Chicago.


“Connor is a unique talent and someone who has worked his way up in the hospitality industry,” says The Bartolotta Restaurants Owner and Co-Founder Chef Paul Bartolotta. “He brings the perfect combination of leadership, innovation, and compassion to this role; and, most importantly, he knows what it means to have a ‘hospitality heart’ that perfectly aligns with the core of our mission.”

Chef McNeil most recently served as Executive Sous Chef of the award-winning Gibson’s Bar & Steakhouse in Chicago. He began his culinary career in the city, serving as a line cook at Sullivan’s Steakhouse and Executive Sous Chef of Sunda New Asian restaurant. Chef McNeil is also a familiar name in Wisconsin, where he has served as Executive Sous Chef of Maggiano’s Little Italy in Milwaukee.

“Working in the Milwaukee area, everyone knows The Bartolotta Restaurants’ reputation and their commitment to guests and the community,” says Chef McNeil. “It is a privilege to join this organization and lead the kitchen at Joey Gerard’s. Joey Gerard’s – A Bartolotta Supper Club is open for dinner Mondays through Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; with a Monday through Friday happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Reservations and group dining inquiries can be made at bartolottas.com/joey-gerards.
