SOUTH MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It was a thread of relaxation and inspiration that led Kristin Kendall to start creating string art pieces.
She started by making Wisconsin sports logos and skylines out of string and nails on wooden blocks. But Kendall wanted to do more than just create art. She wanted to share the new hobby with others.
Now you can create seasonal pieces with her holiday pop-ups at local pubs. The next two String 'n Sip events are Dec. 3 at Vier North in Milwaukee and Dec. 15 at Moran's Pub in South Milwaukee.
Kendall is also the featured artist at Germantown PAC through December if you want to see some of her work in person.
