A wet start to the week along with some cooler weather

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- After a very warm Mother's Day, including reaching 84 degrees in Milwaukee, look for cooler weather to set in today with more clouds and scattered showers and thunder, especially the second part of the day on Monday.

Highs in the low 70s for many, and then we really drop behind a cold front on Tuesday with highs in the 50s.  The risk is there for a few morning showers as well.  Total amounts with this system will be between a half an inch and an inch at least.

The northeast winds won't be overly friendly either.  We could see gusts more than 20 mph.

One more mild day on Monday despite the clouds and precipitation...

Then we wait for our next weather maker coming by the end of the week, including Thursday and Friday.  The risk will be there for more showers and storms.  It'll be milder by then with highs in the 60s and 70s.

By the way, enjoy the pre-5:30 a.m. sunrises through at least the third week of July and then it gets later for the end of summer.  Of course we also have post 8:00 p.m. sunsets to enjoy into the second week of August.
