MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We saw something we don't normally see a lot of times. Thundersnow (and sleet) on the radar into early Monday morning. As of early Monday, some spots had picked up a quick inch or two of wet snow as well. As we get closer to dawn, all this will switch to rain showers as milder air intrudes from the south. Look for the rain to end into the afternoon as wind picks up from the west with gusts around 30 to 40 mph. Highs will be mild too with readings in the 40s.

Guess what? We do it all over again on Tuesday as another quick moving system comes in from the southwest, giving us more rain/snow mix into Tuesday afternoon. A few wet inches of snow are possible too. The rest of the week should be quiet until we get to New Year's Day. Look for snow showers then followed by much colder weather for a few days.
