MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tyler Mane, the 59-year-old actor and former professional wrestler known for playing Sabretooth in the film "X-Men," has publicly disclosed a breast cancer diagnosis, saying his initial concerns were dismissed by doctors before his wife pushed him to have a lump removed.
Mane said he delayed going public because the diagnosis felt embarrassing at first. Breast cancer is rare in men and is often detected at later stages because it is not routinely screened for.
Dr. Joseph Weber, a breast surgeon and vice president of cancer services with Aurora Health Care, joined us on Friday, June 12 to talk about warning signs men should watch for, which men face higher risk and how the disease is diagnosed.
