MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Air & Water Show is returning to the lakefront.
The show, taking place July 25 and 26, will feature aircraft of many shapes, sizes, and uses, with a lot of military planes.
The commander of the 128th Air Refueling Wing says it will be noisy couple of days.
"Just remember that's the sound of freedom," says Cdr. Chris Triplett. "And when you see C-17s and when you see the helos out there demonstrating their capabilities, just remember those men and women are fighting for all of you and this is what we do and that is why we are the best military in the world."
The popular Blue Angels and Thunderbirds precision flying teams will not be part of the show this year.
There is no charge to watch the Air and Water show, though premium seating is available if you want to pay for it.
