MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's almost decision day for Marquette's Olivier-Maxence Prosper.

O-Max declared for the NBA draft six weeks ago with the option to return to school, getting feedback from teams along the way.

"They really love my versatility, the way I can guard multiple positions. The way I'm able to play in transition, push the break. They feel my game translates to the next level."

O-Max has already worked out for five teams and played in the scouting combine along with the other top players in the class. Offensively, he admits he's a bit of a work in progress, focusing on consistent shooting and tighter ball handling. But he'll make an immediate impact on defense.

"You're not going to come in right away being asked to shoot 20 balls a game, that's not how it works. You got to work yourself up. The best way to get on the court is to play defense and give the coach confidence that you can be on the court, and after you do that, then you can build yourself up on the offensive side."

The NBA has always been O-Max's dream. Now that it is within grasp, he's very aware that in a few months he could be guarding childhood heroes like LeBron James.

"You can't go in there timid, if I'm guarding LeBron, I'm going to go at him. I'm going to lock him up, that's just my mindset. But it's definitely exciting and it's going to be a surreal moment."

O-Max hasn't officially decided if he will stay in the draft yet. He has a pro day Tuesday that all 30 teams, including the Bucks, are expected to attend, and plans to make his final decision shortly after that.
