MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Barbecue sauce from Mukwonago, granola from Oshkosh and cheese from Athens are among the Wisconsin-made gifts highlighted by Wisconsin's 79th Alice in Dairyland, Anastasia Poull.
She joined us on Friday, Nov. 6 to talk about gift ideas from the Something Special from Wisconsin program, which includes hundreds of businesses. Products in the program have at least 50% of their packaging, production or ingredients from Wisconsin, and are marked with a red and yellow logo.
The featured businesses are Barracks BBQ in Mukwonago, CRACKnola granola in Oshkosh, Ellie Joe Design Co., Fazio's Chocolate in Elm Grove, Flyte Family Farms in Coloma, Harmony Cheese in Athens and Starla's Seasonings, Dips and Mixes.
Fazio's has won the Wisconsin State Fair's Best of Show Grand Champion award for its chocolates three times, according to the program. Flyte Family Farms makes a blueberry jalapeno jelly, and Harmony Cheese makes a Merlot cheddar.
