MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Despite the rain, hundreds of fanatics made their way to the Baird Center Friday for Anime Milwaukee.
it's a three-day event designed to teach fans about Asian culture, video gaming, Manga and everything in between.
Guests dressed up as their favorite characters and checked out everything the entertaining weekend has to offer.
"We got our cosplay meetups, we got our exhibit halls, we got video gaming, board gaming, we got workshops so people can learn how to style wigs and make armor and all that. It's a lot of fun," Anime Milwaukee Director of Communications Luke Marsden said. "It's a good way to come out and enjoy all those hobbies."
According to their website, the Anime convention is expected to bring in over $3 million to the downtown Milwaukee area.
