Scattered showers and storms expected Tuesday afternoon and evening
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The city of Milwaukee issued approximately 3,800 parking citations during Saturday night's snow emergency.
This was a slight reduction from last week's snow emergency that resulted in 3,850 citations.
On Saturday evening, there were 142 second violators which resulted in a $100 citation.
"This low number of Snow Emergency second violators is encouraging as we would like to increase compliance so our equipment can better access streets to more effectively clear snow and ice," a Department of Public Works spokesperson said.
