MLWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One local man is defying the odds when it comes to fitness, one step at a time.
Meet 94-year-old Cesar Pabon Peres, who volunteers as an exercise instructor at the UCC Fitness Center.
That center is now named after him.
The Army veteran says he has built a loyal following and enjoys passing on his over 50 years' experience by encouraging local senior citizens.
"In the future, what I would like to do before I die is to be able to help more people," he said. "If I can make it to 100, thank you God."
A fun fact about Pabon is that in the 60s, he was a part of a TV wrestling program in Puerto Rico and wrestled under the name "Superman of Puerto Rico."
Pabon was also part of the 65th Infantry Regiment nicknamed "The Borinqueneers," a Puerto Rican regiment of the United States Army.
In June of 2014, they were bestowed a United States Congressional Gold Medal.
