Arrest made in hit-and-run that killed 74-year-old Vietnam veteran

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police have finally made an arrest after a 74-year-old Vietnam veteran was killed by a hit-and-run driver back in April of last year. 

The man police believe is responsible is 34-year-old Nicholas Rice. 

He's being charged with hit-and-run resulting in death. 

MPD says he was driving the car that killed Larry Markiewicz last year. 

An eyewitness at the scene told police she saw two cars driving recklessly, going about 60 or 70 miles an hour leading up to the crash. 

Police say Rice was driving the speeding car that crashed into Markiewicz's car.
