Attempted Robberies Occur at Target and Wal-Mart in West Milwaukee

West Milwaukee Police are searching for multiple suspects who tried to obtain property from women in the parking lots of two West Milwaukee stores Saturday afternoon.

At about 4:30 p.m., West Milwaukee Police received two complaints of attempted robberies, one at Target on 1501 Miller Park Way and the other at Wal-Mart on 4140 West Greenfield Ave. In both incidents, the suspects tried to take purses and cell phones from females, but were unable to gain any property from either woman.

West Milwaukee Police say that these two incidents are connected.

The suspects fled in a stolen dark colored Chrysler and have not been located yet. It is unknown what direction they are traveling, police say.
