WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A lawsuit is expected to be filed against the Kettle Moraine School District Friday, Oct. 16.
The mother of a Kettle Moraine High School student says her daughter has experienced racial harassment and bullying for years, dating back to her time at Kettle Moraine Middle School.
The mother claims she made repeated requests for these incidents to be investigated by school leaders, but no action was taken.
We spoke with the family's attorney Wednesday.
"This started when she was in the middle school, tomorrow we are going to go into detail about all the many events that took place over the last three years and how this district failed to act," said Attorney B'Ivory LaMarr.
The district says they cannot comment on pending litigation, but said they have taken steps and increased their attention to these issues over the past several years.
