Driver who killed couple in wrong-way crash sentenced to prison
MINNEAPOLIS (CBS 58) -- It's been less than three weeks since a federal officer shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Good in Minneapolis.
Sunday, Jan. 25, the attorney representing Good's family responded to yesterday's deadly shooting of 37-year-old Alex Pretti.
"They are absolutely appalled and shocked. I mean, you know, one thing they thought was that maybe there was something to be learned, what happened on January 7 here in Minnesota, and instead, the opposite is happening." said Attorney Antonio Romanucci. " We're seeing escalation, and from what I'm seeing on this video, a totally needless... another needless death yesterday."
Renne Good was shot in her SUV following an encounter with ICE agents.
According to the Minneapolis Fire Department report, Good sustained at least three gunshot wounds and a possible fourth.
She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
