BROOKLYN, NY (CBS 58) - After his sensational season with the Wisconsin Badgers, John Tonje is headed to the next level.

Tonje has been selected by the Utah Jazz in the 2025 NBA Draft with the 53rd overall pick.

Tonje is the second Badgers men's basketball player drafted since Johnny Davis went 10th overall in 2022.

In his one season in Madison, Tonje was named a second team All-American and a unanimous first team All-Big Ten selection.

Tonje averaged 19.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game on 38% shooting from 3 last season.
