Milwaukee Armed Forces Week honors active military in our hometowns
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --The crack of a bat is one of the signs of summer that Milwaukee Brewers fans can begin to look forward to on Opening Day Thursday, March 26.
Pete Tucci, CEO of Connecticut-based bat manufacturer Tucci and a former MLB player, joined us on Wednesday, March 25 to discuss what it takes to supply bats to big leaguers ahead of Opening Day.
Tucci talked about how particular players are about their bats, how many they go through in a week, the logistics of getting them to players and what an amateur would notice picking up a pro's bat.
