GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) – A ceremonial groundbreaking was held on Wednesday marking the redevelopment project of Bayshore, formerly known as the Bayshore Town Center.
The project will include new stores, restaurants and a green space. The mall section of Bayshore will be taken down and turned into office space and housing.
Project leaders say they want to make Bayshore a place to bring the community together year-round. The revamp comes after several stores and restaurants closed at the mall.
“We’re taking what really works about Bayshore and enhancing it,” Cypress Equities managing director Kirk Williams said. “And the things that aren’t really experiencing great activity, we’re bringing those down.”
The project is expected to be complete by mid-November 2020.
