Our stretch of dry and sunny weather shows no signs of ending, which is great news for everyone who has outdoor plans over the long weekend. Temps will still be a little cool today near the lake with highs in the mid 60s, but temps reach the low 70s inland.
Wind will stay off the lake through the weekend into early next week, keeping highs in the low to mid 70s lakeside and mid 70s to low 80s inland. There will be a couple passing clouds on Sunday, but no chance of rain.
Wind becomes more southerly during the middle of next week, which will help boost temps into the mid to upper 80s inland with low 80s lakeside thanks to a lake breeze. Temps will stay well above normal through the first few days of June.
While it's nice to have another dry weekend, we could really use some rain in SE WI. We're over 3" below normal over the last six weeks.
There may be enough moisture back in SE WI by the end of next week to pop a few isolated showers or storms, but nothing that looks to bring substantial rainfall. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to keep track of the forecast.
