MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Brew City Match, a program aimed at revitalizing commercial corridors and supporting BIPOC businesses, has relaunched in Milwaukee.
Offering financing and mentorship to small businesses in underserved areas, the program plans to invest around $3.5 million over the next few years, fostering job creation and economic growth.
Since 2019, Brew City Match has granted $1.16 million to 68 businesses, redeveloping 54 commercial properties and generating over 250 jobs. The restructured program, a component of Local Initiatives Support Corporation Milwaukee, is now accepting applications from small business and property owners.
