Brewers bringing back trading cards that will be handed out by Milwaukee police officers

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Brewers are bringing back a bit of nostalgia. Brewers baseball trading cards distributed by officers with the Milwaukee Police Department are making a return.

According to a news release, the baseball card program provided youth with a connection to the city and to baseball.

The relaunch of the program will bring updated fan favorites such as Christian Yelich, Willy Adames, and William Contreras.

Children can receive these cards from MPD officers.

“We are pleased to help revive this campaign, support MPD and help create future generations of baseball fans," said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers President – Business Operations.
