Brewers farm team leads Hope at Bat initiative for American Cancer Society

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tyler Gillies may some day be a pitcher for the Brewers.

Right now, he's something even more important -- a cancer survivor, Hodgkin's lymphoma to be exact.

Gillies plays for the Brewers farm team, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, and because of Gillies, the Rattlers have been chosen to kick off minor league baseball's Hope at Bat initiative this year.

It's a fundraising effort for the American Cancer Society and all minor league teams are participating.
