Milwaukee ranked top city for recent college grads
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As the season rolls on, the Brewers continue to be great both on and off the field.
Tuesday afternoon, the Brewers and the Salvation Army launched the 2025 Feed the Kids Summer Meals program.
The Brew Crew and volunteers teamed up at American Family Field to make 400 sack lunches for children living in underserved neighborhoods.
Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger talked about the impact this partnership will have on kids across Milwaukee County.
"This program is growing, and you know, through our efforts and publicity, you know, we want to make sure that every kid who has a food insecurity or is eligible can participate. So, programs like this bring awareness, it promotes a good cause, and it promotes our partnership with Salvation Army," Schlesinger said.
Since its start in 1990, Feed the Kids has provided nearly three million meals to local children.
