MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Brewers Third Baseman Andruw Monasterio surprised everyone at Aurora's Walker's Point Community Clinic on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
Monasterio signed autographs and chatted with staff for about an hour. He also dropped off some Brewers Hispanic heritage T-shirts at the clinic that serves more than 1,000 patients every month.
"He doesn't need to be here, and he chose to be here out of the goodness of his heart for them, that means a lot because it means he cares. He cares about what we do and what we have to contribute to the community, and he's helping us be exciting us with his presence," said Chris Casselman, manager of clinic operations.
It is a busy day for Monasterio as the Brewers play the Giants tonight at American Family Field.
