Brewers players host Hot Stove, Cold Brews event at Dugout 54
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Baseball's one realm where you can feel really sad in October, but a lot better in January.
Brewers fans have that happy feeling after today's Hot Stove, Cold Brews event at Dugout 54.
This is a smaller scale version of the Brewers On Deck event.
Here, players posed for pictures, served drinks and signed a few autographs.
Make no mistake, seeing optimistic and hopeful fans gets the Brewers fired up about the upcoming season.
"We haven't been able to do this in a long time, so it's a great opportunity to interact with our fans," said Matt Arnold. "See our players that we haven't seen in a long time, and everybody looks great, everybody's downstairs ready to go, so it's a lot of fun."
"The way life and the world has worked, we've not been able to do this and interact with our fans. This year, you'll see much more of that," said Craig Counsell. "Any time, this time of year, we all get excited to get started. You can tell the fans are getting excited as well."
