MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Brewhouse Inn and Suites, along with On Tap, celebrated an anniversary and an unveiling Friday, Sept. 8. Milwaukee's mayor and other city organizations jumped in on the celebration.
The two businesses are housed in the historic Pabst Brewery complex, which has been on the National Historic Registry since 2003. On Friday, the building received the registry plaque.
"What's better to celebrate our 10-year anniversary than to unveil our amazing plaque and show Milwaukee, 'hey, we’re here,'" said Amie Wilkerson, general manager for both Brewhouse Inn and On Tap.
Mayor Cavalier Johnson, along with AIA Milwaukee and Milwaukee Preservation Alliance, joined in on the celebration. The mayor made a proclamation that Sept. 8, 2023, would be known as Cream City Brick Day.
On Friday at 4:30 p.m., the public was invited to celebrate the anniversary and unveiling celebration at 1215 N. 10th St.
