Hopefully you enjoyed some of the cooler and comfy weather over the weekend. We heat back up on Monday with highs around 90! If we do get to 90 in Milwaukee it will be the 4th time this year.
The heat actually won't come with much humidity with dew points staying in the 50s all day putting it in the comfy category. A little more humidity is expected Tuesday with dew points in the middle 60s then dropping again on Wednesday.
A cold front will end the heat Monday night. That front could bring some strong to severe storms across the state as it rolls through. The best chance for any severe storms will be in central Wisconsin but storms should weaken before they reach southeast Wisconsin. Parts of our local area, mainly north of I-94 could see a lingering strong storm.
The strong storm chance will continue almost every day that we have a rain chance this week. Nothing looks very concerning but some damaging wind or even small hail will be a possibility.
We still some good rain. For the month of July we are so far right on track but we need a wet July to make up for the big rain deficit since April. Through Thursday morning most of southeast Wisconsin could see 0.75-1.50" of rainfall with more on the way Thursday and Friday.
