WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Jackson Sparks, the little 8-year-old boy who lost his life in the Waukesha parade attack, has stolen the hearts of people everywhere.

That includes the owner of Broken Bat Brewing. A Milwaukee Brewery rooted in baseball, that was Jackson's favorite sport.

"Every time I would read something about Jackson, I just felt like I was reading about me as an 8-year-old. And I literally sat on grief for months thinking, 'I gotta be able to do something.' And on a whim last winter, I reached out to Aaron and Sheri and said, 'I don't have much, but I have to do something,'" said Tim Pauly, owner of Broken Bat Brewing.

Together, Tim Pauly, along with Jackson's parents, Aaron and Shari sparks, are doing something big.

On Saturday, Feb. 3, Broken Bat Brewing is hosting a beer and wine tasting fundraiser for the Jackson Sparks Foundation, which grants baseball wishes to kids that have been through trauma.

Several hometown breweries, wineries, and restaurants are coming together for an all you can eat and drink celebration in honor of Jackson, benefiting his foundation.

"We're just looking for different ways to incorporate fundraising and getting people to get together and have some fun, remember Jackson, and raise some money to help make baseball dreams come true," said Aaron Sparks.

"The more we can do to raise money to do that, the longer we get to do this. And we're just so blessed to be able to do this," said Aaron Sparks.

The Jackson Sparks Foundation Beer and Wine Tasting at Broken Bat Brewing is on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
