Brown Deer and Glendale police chase ends with an abandoned car

On Thursday, May 18 in the 4500 block of West Bradley Road a Brown Deer Police officer attempted to stop a green Toyota Camry for speeding. The car fled westbound on West Bradley Road and continued into Milwaukee with police in pursuit.

Officers deployed Stop Sticks, but the car swerved to avoid them. The pursuit was terminated on North Green Bay Road at West Rochelle Avenue where the car was last seen traveling south on Green Bay Road.

Later on the Glendale Police Department located the car and successfully deployed Stop Sticks. The vehicle was then found abandoned on West Marne Avenue in Glendale. The area was checked for suspects on foot, but no one was located.

Contact was made with the vehicle's owner, a 19-year-old Milwaukee woman, who told police her boyfriend, a 20-year-old from Milwaukee, was driving the car.

Police discovered the man has a felony warrant through Department of Corrections. The Milwaukee Police Department attempted to make contact with the man at his last known residence, but were unsuccessful.
