TOWN OF BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A new brunch-focused restaurant is set to open this summer at The Corners of Brookfield.

According to a Monday, Feb. 24 press release, Waking Daisy will be located on Lord St. between FreshFin and Sweetgreen with plans to offer breakfast, brunch, and lunch, featuring a full bar and a menu highlighting locally sourced ingredients.

The restaurant, developed by the owners of FreshFin, is planning to include 98 indoor seats and 28 outdoor patio seats. The developers say it will serve American classics alongside globally inspired dishes, with a selection of specialty cocktails and health-conscious options.

Construction is underway, with an anticipated opening in June. Waking Daisy will initially operate daily from 7 a.m. to the early afternoon, with plans to introduce select dinner hours in the future.
