Bucks unveil new City Edition uniforms celebrating Wisconsin fans
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Bucks have unveiled their new City Edition uniforms for the 2024-25 NBA season, designed to celebrate fans throughout Wisconsin. The uniforms are part of Nike’s NBA City Edition collection and will be worn this season.
This is the fourth and final uniform in a series highlighting the Bucks’ connections to Milwaukee and the state. Previous City Edition uniforms have featured Milwaukee’s rivers, Lake Michigan, Deer District and neighboring communities.
According to a Thursday, Nov. 14 press release from the Bucks, the uniform's new design focuses on the people, places and characteristics that make Wisconsin special, emphasizing the Bucks’ role in uniting these elements.
The front of the uniform showcases a line outlining Wisconsin’s northernmost border, which continues onto the shorts with a secondary logo highlighting Milwaukee’s location within the state.
The neckline trim includes accents in Cream City Cream, one of the Bucks’ original colors. Great Lakes Blue is also featured, a color added to the Bucks’ palette in 2015 that symbolizes Milwaukee’s interconnectivity formed by Lake Michigan and the three rivers running through the city, while Cream City Cream is inspired by the cream-colored bricks used in Milwaukee’s historic buildings.
The Bucks will debut the City Edition uniforms on Wednesday, Nov. 23 when they host the Charlotte Hornets at Fiserv Forum. The uniforms will be worn during nine home games throughout the regular season and will be complemented by a redesigned City Edition alternate court.
The City Edition uniforms, and retail collection are available online and at the Bucks Pro Shop locations at Fiserv Forum and Bayshore Mall.
