MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are trying to find the person who shot three people outside a downtown Milwaukee bar – killing one of them and sending the other two to the hospital.
It happened Monday morning around 2 a.m. near the corner of Juneau and Water Streets.
Max Marciniack, the manager of Ian’s Pizza on East Juneau, says Sunday nights on the street can get rowdy.
“A decent crowd comes through,” he said. “Not as busy as Friday or Saturday, but still busy.”
The area isn’t known for violence, but rather, as a popular spot for young people out for a good time. That’s what Marciniack was surprised to hear of a deadly shooting just steps from his business.
“A lot of people come here to have fun, whether it be drinking or hanging out with friensd, having pizza or stuff like that,” Marciniack said. “There’s not a lot of violence or things like that that happens around here.”
