'Can't Fight This Feeling': REO Speedwagon to perform at 2023 Wisconsin State Fair
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A legendary rock band that has sold more than 40 million albums, REO Speedwagon, has been announced as performers at the Wisconsin State Fair Main Stage on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at 7:30 p.m.
With more than 40 million albums sold around the world, REO Speedwagon has become one of the most iconic rock bands of all time. From 1977 to 1989, they released nine consecutive albums, all of which were certified Platinum or higher.
The band has been fronted by legendary vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972 and features Bruce Hall on bass, Dave Amato on guitar and Bryan Hitt on drums. Their hits include "Can't Fight This Feeling," "Time for Me to Fly," "Keep on Loving You" and "Take It on the Run."
Edwin McCain will open the show at 7:30 p.m. He is known for love songs such as "I'll Be" and "I Could Not Ask for More" which charted on Billboard's Top 40 in the late '90s.
Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, Mar. 3, at 10 a.m. at WiStateFair.com. All seating for this show is reserved, with tickets ranging from $45 to $55. Each ticket includes admission to the 2023 Wisconsin State Fair for the day of the show when purchased prior to entering the Fair Park.
