ROCHESTER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Around 7:24 a.m. Friday morning Racine County 911 received several 911 calls of an accident in the 28200 block of Washington Avenue in the Village of Rochester for a car that crashed into a house.
Then they arrived Deputies determined that a Ford Taurus driving west did not negotiate the curve, went off into the gravel shoulder, over corrected, crossed the center line, and hit a Ford Explorer driving east. After striking the SUV, the Taurus continued into the yard of a home and rammed the front of the house causing significant structural damage to the house’s living room wall.
Two people were inside of the house when it was hit but neither were injured. The drivers of the Taurus and Explorer were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The 20-year-old driver of the Taurus from Racine was cited for causing the crash.
