MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Around this time, Casa Guadalupe in West Bend would be buzzing with people for the Fiesta Latina, celebrating its 25th year during Hispanic Heritage Month.
And even though COVID-19 has stepped in the way of those plans, the celebrations continue.
The education center is organizing a fundraiser, from Sept. 27-Oct. 2, where you can win prizes.
"We are the only nonprofit in Washington County that has bilingual, multicultural staff that works with the Spanish-speaking community providing the services we provide to build better bridges and connections in our communities," said Noelle Braun, executive director of Casa Guadalupe Education Center. "We're hoping it is a great success."
They plan to use the money raised for their educational programs and their college scholarship fund.
To participate, you must purchase raffle tickets and you can also help by eating at select restaurants that will be giving their proceeds to Casa Guadalupe.
