A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Workers with Clean Sweep Milwaukee were out in Cathedral Square Park Monday, Nov. 4, getting into the holiday spirit.
They staked out about 150 evergreens ahead of the Holiday Lights Festival celebration later this month.
Local kids from nearby schools will come out next week Tuesday to help decorate them.
Workers say they're glad the weather cooperated.
"As long as the weather stays good, we're okay," said Clean Sweep Director Greg Peterson. "Not too windy and no more snow. Basically it's something we've been doing for the last few years, so we're kinda used to it, get a rhythm going."
The Holiday Lights Festival, which also includes decorations at Pere Marquette Park and Zeidler Union Square, begins Nov. 21.
