NOW: Badgers, Brown Deer’s Zack Baun helps Eagles with pick of the Pack

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Brown Deer's Zack Baun plays for the Eagles. CBS 58's Sports Director Lance Allan caught up with him in the Philadelphia locker room and in a one-on-one interview, the former Badgers linebacker admits, his interception of Jordan Love was huge.

"That was awesome. Honestly, a dream pick of mine," Baun admits. "Not because it was Green Bay. Not because it was the playoffs. But because of the situation and where I got it on the field. Just perfect, perfect. I just had to catch the ball."

Baun has had an incredible season. Is it different place, different feeling?

"Yeah, I think a lot of it was just being comfortable. And being comfortable in my environment. I mean I bet there's a lot of guys out there who are uncomfortable and just need to find a way to get out and taste of something new. A taste of fresh breath of air. So, I'm excited about what we got going here and it's awesome, it's awesome," Baun says.

From Brown Deer to the Badgers, to possibly the Super Bowl. Does he think about that?

"Ah, I think about it. It's definitely a goal. Obviously, it's one game at a time. One game at a time at this point," Baun says.

And he was one of the best high school athletes from this area. Does he tell people in the locker room that?

"I mean that's big credit. Being second next to Joe Thomas I'll take that. I will absolutely take that. I don't tell them about what I did in high school. But sometimes they find it. Sometimes they find it. Sometimes they'll find my basketball highlights or football highlights. Yeah, that's me," Baun says.

Was he a one-man team?

"It took a team," Baun says.
