Changing weather for Wednesday. Snow likely for the morning commute.

After a beautiful and mild St. Patrick's Day we have some big changes coming for Wednesday.  A storm system to our south will arrive and create some snow showers across southeastern Wisconsin between 5 am and 10 am.

Accumulation would be confined to the grass and will be less than an inch.  The snow will switch over to rain during the late morning and afternoon.  Most of the showers will be spotty and light for the rest of Wednesday.

Much heavier rain is expected on Thursday.  Might be enough instability for a chance for some thunder as well.  That heavy rain will end early Friday morning with some flurries!

Most areas will pick up close to an inch of precipitation.
