Children's Wisconsin: Last patient returns home following Waukesha parade attack

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Children's Wisconsin announced Friday, Jan. 14 that the last child remaining in their care from the Waukesha parade tragedy was discharged on New Year's Day.

In an update, the hospital wrote in part:

"While one child sadly did not survive, we are thankful that the medical conditions of the others involved have improved. Though they are home now, we know this is a journey and many face a long recovery as a result of serious injuries, both physical. They will continue to need the love, support and dedication of the community."
