City of Milwaukee cleared to move into phase four of reopening

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee has just been cleared to move into the next phase of its reopening.

Phase four will take effect next Wednesday, July 1.

One significant change is more people will be allowed in places like churches, restaurants and hotels.

Most businesses and charges will be able to open to 50-percent capacity.

Stores will be able to hold 75-percent.

Social distancing will still be required, and face masks are strongly encouraged.

The city will stay in phase four for at least two weeks.
