MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- No matter how the Badgers and Golden Eagles fare in the men's tournament, the city of Milwaukee will consider themselves a winner.
For the first time since 2022, Fiserv Forum will host first and second round games Friday and Sunday.
The city expects at least 19,000 unique visitors for the weekend, plus some great exposure for the city.
"We're going to be on national television, and being able to see the inside of Fiserv Forum, and then just the economic impact of the teams staying here in our hotels along with all the fans that travel," said Marissa Werner, VISIT Milwaukee.
VISIT Milwaukee is predicting the NCAA tournament games will have $3.4 million in economic impact for the city.
