Update: Coast Guard suspends search for 20-year-old woman on paddle board in Lake Michigan

SOUTH MILWAUKEE, WIS.  (CBS 58) -- The Coast Guard tells CBS 58 that the search for a missing paddleboarder that started on September 3 was suspended at 12:30 a.m. on September 4. They tell us there have been no reports of missing persons or missing vehicles near the search location. 

They say the search will stay suspended until any information warrants a continuance.

SOUTH MILWAUKEE, WIS.  (CBS 58) -- According to authorities, the Coast Guard is searching for a 20-year-old woman in an inflatable paddleboard who went out into Lake Michigan off Seven Bridges Trail in Grant Park. She has not returned. 

The South Milwaukee Fire Department received first call regarding the incident at around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3. Authorities say a small boat has been dispatched. The DNR and police are on scene. 

The Coast Guard has called in a helicopter from Traverse City, Mich.
