Construction worker injured at Lambeau Field dies

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A construction worker injured while working at Lambeau Field died over the weekend, according to a report from WFRV on behalf of Mavid Construction. 

The construction company said on June 17, the employee was a second-generation employee and worked alongside his father and brother at Mavid Construction. In the release, Mavid says its main concern is the well-being of the employee’s family and those who were on the project site.

"Our main concern is for the well-being of our employee’s family, our team members who were on the project site, and our entire team who worked with this employee. His decision to be an organ donor will save many lives."

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A construction worker is in critical condition following an incident at Lambeau Field in Green Bay on Thursday, June 15. 

According to a report from WFRV, officials responded to Lambeau Field around 10 a.m. for a report of a person who was "trapped." 

Officials extricated one person in critical condition to a local hospital. Miron Construction Co., Inc. confirmed the victim was an employee of a subcontractor.

"Today on the Lambeau Field project site in Green Bay, Wis. an employee of a subcontractor experienced a serious incident on site and is currently in critical condition."
