BARRON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The man accused of kidnapping Jayme Closs and killing her parents is not cooperating in his presentence investigation.
Newly filed court documents say Jake Patterson stated he was advised by his lawyer not to cooperate. It's not clear what impact it will have on his sentencing.
Patterson pleaded guilty in March. He's scheduled to be sentenced on May 24 and faces a potential life sentence.
